What makes gpik™ work so well?
We experimented with many shapes before selecting the present design--the specific angle of the tip allows the user to view the screen and increases his speed and accuracy.

What is the purpose of the nipple like tip?
Again this was specifically designed to allow for ease in scrolling for certain pdas and also to increase accuracy on certain devices.

Can gpik™ be used on keypads, like the Blackberry line of products?
Yes however gpik, LLC is developing another product called a keypad accessory tip that will enhance use on most keypads by utilizing a concave tip design.

Can it be used on the new Blackberry product called Storm?
Our new product iPik™ can be used on the blackberry storm and also t-mobile’s new g1. The iPik™ uses special manufacturing materials that will enable its use on these products whereas regular stylus will not work.

Can the gpik™ and iPik™ be used on keypad devices?
Yes they can. In particular the new design of the iPik™ has a non-slip feature with a flat surface that will greatly enhance its use on keypad instruments.

Can gpik™ be used on the iPhone™ and iPodTouch™?
No, however our new product, iPik™, can be. Special materials utilized in manufacturing the iPik™ enables its use on both iPhone™ and iPodTouch™ screens.

Does the new iPik™ really work on iPhone™ and iPodTouch™?
Yes, absolutely- it will enable some users to type emails and text messages much more accurately- and with the use of only one hand. It will also work on other new products that are being introduced that utilize the same technology as iPhone™ that emphasize finger touch only.

Is the new iPik™ shown the final manufactured product?
No, it is a prototype at this time- however we are marketing that product and making it available at this time as we prepare for manufacture.

Is the gpik™ and iPik™ really the new standard in stylus for the industry?
There is virtually a revolution going on in the touch screen pda world. So many new products many are touch screen and many are for only finger touch so a regular stylus cannot be used –the gpik™/iPik™ concept is designed to be used on all the touch screens and while only using one hand—it fits right in to our fast paced world of 2009. We are very busy and we don’t want nor should we be slowed down. While many of the new products are simply excellent their keypads and other markers are very small and inconvenient for some people and for some uses – the gpik™ and the iPik facilitate that use and that fine product by making it easy.

Easy to carry, easy to wear, easy to use. It is 2009 and we don’t want to be slowed down at all – we believe the gpik™ and the iPik™ fit well into that world of mobility and speed.

Why was iPik™ developed?
Our research discovered that many iPhone™ and iPodTouch™ users became frustrated with the keyboard size as it slowed them DOWN, particularly on texting and emailing. iPik™ can solve that problem for many of those users.

Can iPik™ be used on any other touch screen handheld device?
Yes, absolutely – the beauty of iPik™ is that it can be used not only on iPhone™ and iPod Touch™ products but on all other touch screen devices as well- it has that flexibility of utilization.

What about other new pda products that are being introduced –will it work on them?
There is virtually a revolution going on in the touch screen area- some of the new products being introduced have a special screen that disallow the use of anything but a finger –or thumb to activate the screen. These products include the iphone™, ipod touch™ blackberry storm™ and g1™ from t-mobile™ – and there are others as well.

Our new product the iPik™ is designed to work on all these new devices as it is manufactured from special materials that facilitate its use on those types of touch screens.

Why is a stylus still needed for these new products – if they only allow finger touch?
Because for many users the keypads are too too small and they make mistakes texting and emailing and writing notes ---it was a good idea to try to eliminate the stylus – but for many people it is not a practical thing to do without a stylus.

The gpik™ and iPik™ actually make it easy to use new devices and to do so with only one hand – it is very efficient to use them.

Can gpik™ and iPik™ be used on inventory handheld's???
Absolutely – it will increase the speed and accuracy with which inventories are taken.

Can it be used on handheld gps devices ?
Yes both gpik™ and iPik™ will work on the gps handheld's.

Can gpik™/iPik™ be used on handheld seduko games?
Yes with ease.

Can gpik™/iPik™ be used on Nintendo DS ™?
Absolutely – it works exceedingly well on the Nintendo DS ™.

Will gpik™ or iPik™ work well on farm or agricultural machinery such as tractor touch screens?
It will work very well and the lanyard should facilitate their use in such a condition.

Can gpik™ and iPik™ be used in boating or marine applications?
Yes absolutely – there are many situations where a gpik™ on a lanyard would work very well in a marine application.

Will gpik™ fit all thumb sizes?
gpik™ will fit most adult thumb sizes – it will stretch to fit larger thumbs and has a certain memory for that – so that a family member that uses a gpik™ more or less personalizes it after some use.

How do I adjust the size?
For larger thumbs take the wings of the gpik™ and spread them out, hold them in that position for several seconds. For smaller thumbs do the reverse by pressing the wings together.

Can children use gpik™?
Yes if proper care and caution are exercised by the adult to ensure that it can be safely used for its intended purpose. Not recommended for children under 8 years of age.

Can gpik be used on my finger?
Yes, of course. However the main benefit of gpik™ is that by using it on the thumb requires only one hand – not two thus making multi-tasking easy.

Where can I buy gpik™?

Can gpik™ be personalized for my company?
Yes in the future we will hope to offer that benefit. Please let us know if you want to order gpik™s for your company and have the company logo imprinted and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Will gpik™ be produced in other colors in the future?
It is possible but not at this time. We currently offer black, gray, blue, light pink, dark pink, violet, green, red and clear.

How should I store or carry gpik™?

  1. Velcro®
    Just attach a small circle of Velcro® to gpik™ and place other half on car door, desktop, refrigerator, computer, PDA or any other handheld device.
  2. Magnets
    Go to a local hobby shop and purchase the small magnets – super glue to gpik™ and super glue another magnet to a surface that will facilitate the use of gpik™.  Before using magnets, please check with the specifications of the manufacture of your device regarding magnets damaging your device performance.
  3. Lanyard  
    Attach the lanyard to your belt and gpik™ to the lanyard, it will always be with you .
    Note: The hole in gpik™ is provided especially for lanyard attachment.
  4. Pockets
    Just place the gpik™ into your shirt or pant pocket – or purse.
